Synthetic fabrics, such as polyester, tend to last longer than natural fabrics like cotton or linen, which can fade or wear out more quickly. High-traffic areas and rooms with significant sunlight exposure will also shorten their lifespan.

Custom Window Treatments

Custom window treatments are made in local workrooms using high-quality, carefully selected fabrics. Unlike ready-mades, they can be crafted to any width or length, ensuring a perfect fit. Various lining options—including blackout, interlining, dim-out, and bump—enhance light control, insulation, and fabric protection.

Many of my clients still have their custom treatments in place 30 years later, particularly valances and bedroom draperies with minimal sun exposure. Additionally, high-end materials used in custom treatments often contain healthier, PFAS-free fabrics, avoiding harmful chemicals found in some ready-mades.

We provide one comprehensive price that includes fabric, lining, fabrication, hardware, installation, and taxes, with a 75% deposit required upfront and the balance due upon installation.

Important Considerations When Ordering Custom Treatments
